Denny Hamlin, fiancée officially announce birth, name of newborn son

Denny Hamlin and his fiancée Jordan Fish have officially welcomed their newborn son to the world with his name and other details. A little over a week after he was born, the NASCAR family is happy to introduce Jameson Drew Hamlin to everyone else.
Last week, Denny Hamlin missed the Mexico City Cup Series race after the birth of Jameson Drew. He decided that his time was best spent taking care of his family and not traveling to another country in the immediate aftermath of the birth.
Three kids and a wedding still in the future, the Hamlin family continues to grow. The NASCAR driver and his partner made a shared post on Instagram.
“Born June 11th, 8 lbs 4 oz, 22 3/4 inches,” the post details. “The road to meeting him wasn’t easy… but he’s home, he’s perfect, and his sisters can’t get enough of him. Our hearts have never been so full. Introducing our son… Jameson Drew Hamlin.”
Big sisters Taylor and Molly look to be very happy. Heading into the Pocono weekend, could the arrival of his first son give Denny Hamlin a bit of a boost? He won the last time he was on the track in Michigan. Hamlin has won more races at Pocono than any other driver in NASCAR history. He hopes to add to that record this Sunday.

Denny Hamlin looking to win at Pocono in return
After a week off from racing, likely with less sleep than he would have had in Mexico, Denny Hamlin is back on the trail. He’s heading to Pocono Raceway this weekend. He will likely be the favorite or one of a handful of favorites to win.
If you look at what Hamlin has done in the Next Gen car at Pocono, it is very impressive. In 2022, he won the race, only to be disqualified afterwards along with his JGR teammate Kyle Busch. They finished 1-2 with a bit of helicopter tape on the front bumper. NASCAR awarded the win to third-place, Chase Elliott.
Still, Hamlin hasn’t wavered. In the last two races at Pocono, Hamlin has a win and a runner-up finish. So, you can spin that as two wins and a runner-up finish if you want. With the speed he showed at Charlotte, Nashville, and Michigan, I think he has to be a favorite this weekend.
Denny Hamlin is looking to earn his eighth career win at Pocono. It would be his fourth win of the season and 58th of his career. At 44 years old, Hamlin has to start maximizing his opportunities if he wants to break that 60-win mark and put himself in the top-10 all-time in NASCAR victories.
