Questions have risen regarding which sponsor will adorn Denny Hamlin’s No. 11 Toyota for a litany of open dates during the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series season. The loss of FedEx and Mavis Discount Tire left them in a lurch, but it seems as if Joe Gibbs Racing has landed a major brand to join their team.

Progressive Insurance will be joining Hamlin’s 2025 crusade, as the company came to an agreement with JGR. The deal was announced on Tuesday. Perhaps the iconic Flo will grace the No. 11, and help Hamlin win his first Cup Series title this season.

The addition of Progressive to the No. 11 team’s sponsorship is a huge boon. Over the past two decades, FedEx has made it easy on the team, but they decided not to renew their deal with JGR after the 2024 campaign. Mavis leaving at the same time didn’t help, and no major sponsor has stepped up in the following months to help the veteran out.

Throughout the 2025 season thus far, Hamlin has been sponsored by National Debt Relief and Yahoo, but Progressive will be an awesome addition for the No. 11 Toyota. A myriad of insurance companies have sponsored cars before, like Farmers Insurance with Kasey Kahne, and Nationwide with Dale Earnhardt Jr.

Denny Hamlin may be in the twilight of his career, but the NASCAR Cup Series star can still get the job done. With Progressive on the hood, he could take his game to a new level as the 2025 crusade moves forward.

Denny Hamlin left all his luck in the Las Vegas casino

Meanwhile, Denny Hamlin made sure to hit up the casino during this past race weekend in Las Vegas. He has won a lot of money in recent years playing blackjack and other games in Vegas. This time, it was the slot machine that came up big.

Before racing on Sunday, Hamlin had already made more than a quarter of a million dollars in jackpots. He hit one jackpot for $126,000+ on Friday night. Then he went back on Saturday and hit two more jackpots for $85k and $65k. Unreal luck.

Even though the money was flowing in the casino, luck was not on Hamlin’s side on the track. The No. 11-car really wasn’t a factor all race long. Hamlin appeared to get himself back on track with the leaders, but it wasn’t meant to be.

Through five races, Denny Hamlin has three finishes of P21 or worse. That can’t keep happening. This team has to get back to running up front each week or it will be time to panic sooner rather than later.
