Denny Hamlin sends message to Corey Heim ahead of Truck Series championship

Just before the green flag flies for the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series championship, Denny Hamlin is making his support known. Of course, he’s backing Corey Heim!
Not only are both of these drivers under the Toyota umbrella, they both drive the No. 11 in their respective series. Don’t forget that Corey Heim is the simulator and reserve driver for 23XI Racing as well as Legacy Motor Club.
At one point, there was a rumor that Heim could end up as 23XI’s third driver next season. However, that did not come to fruition as the 22-year-old takes another season in the Truck Series in 2025.
Denny Hamlin sent a message of support prior to the start tonight.
I think that this is more than likely Denny Hamlin rooting for his 23XI employee. Corey Heim does a lot of valuable work on that simulator. This season he filled in for Erik Jones when he was out with injury at Legacy Motor Club. He also had a one-off start in a third car for 23XI.
You can’t underestimate that simulator time that Heim gets. Even though he is doing another season in the Truck Series, his development is not lacking. He is keeping busy in the truck and behind the scenes where fans don’t see.

Denny Hamlin has multiple drivers in championship races
Between Corey Heim and Tyler Reddick, 23XI Racing has two drivers in the Championship 4 races this weekend. That isn’t too bad if you ask me. Both drivers have earned their place in the Phoenix finale in their respective series, that’s for sure.
Denny Hamlin is hoping to raise a Cup Series trophy this weekend. The Bill France Cup that he has always wanted as a driver may come as an owner first. If Reddick can be ready to put on the performance of his career at Phoenix he has a chance to win a championship.
Hamlin fell short of the Championship 4. He wasn’t good enough to earn a win and had too many problems to earn a lot of stage points. With that said, Hamlin had a very good season this year and will likely be one of the best drivers in the series again for 2025.
23XI Racing and Tyler Reddick are the only representatives for Toyota in the Cup Series Championship 4. Are we going to see Denny Hamlin lift the Bill France Cup, courtesy of his driver?
