Denver Broncos wide receiver Jerry Jeudy is out of police custody on bond on Friday. The judge in Arapahoe County made an initial determination on his case after a court appearance in the morning.

“Jerry Jeudy was released on bond today, with full contact allowed between him and the alleged victim, per his attorney Harvey Steinberg, who added the judge stated, ‘there was not probable cause to believe that there was the threat or use of any physical force against the victim,'” ESPN’s Adam Schefter shared.

Jeudy’s attorney’s statement matches up with information Arapahoe Country Sherrif Tyler Brown released on Thursday afternoon.

He made it clear that the former Alabama star had no “physical contact” with the mother of his one-month-old child. The victim addressed the court on Friday and said she would like the case dismissed, according to Denver7 reporter Troy Renck.

“‘I did want to dismiss the case,’ Renck tweeted from the proceedings. “‘I just wanted them to monitor the situation. … He was not a threat. I didn’t feel threatened.’ DA still plans to charge Jeudy. He will bond out and next court date is May 31.”

Details of former Alabama star Jerry Jeudy’s arrest

“This morning at approximately 10:15 [a.m.] deputies were dispatched to an address here in Arapahoe County,” Brown said. “A female party was asking for a ‘keep the peace’ situation between her and a male party. Upon deputies arriving on scene, they contacted a female party who identified herself [as the mother of his child] and explained that she had property that Mr. Jeudy was in control of.

“Deputies were able to confirm that Mr. Jeudy did have control of some property of the female reporting party and that she was unable to access it. After that, it was determined that Mr. Jeudy was being accused of committing second degree tampering in the state of Colorado.”

According to the police report, the accuser had said “things got crazy” between the two, and said that that Jeudy put her wallet and medical paperwork for their child in his car and would not let her get access to it.

“[Jeudy] hides her phone around the home due to jealousy issues from JERRY, and does not take it out around him … She does not have a phone on her currently, and had to go to the neighbors to use the phone,” Broncos beat writer Mike Klis excerpted from the report on social media.

“She is trying to go back to to Virginia. but is unable to due to her not having access to a car seat, her wallet, and medical paperwork for their child. She-does not want to get him in “trouble,” she wants her items back so she can leave. I then made contact with [Jeudy]. [Jeudy] told me: “He did take [woman’s] wallet, items for baby, and formula for baby and locked them in the car so she could not access them. He did this because she took one of his three phones and would not give it back.”
