The Denver Broncos have selected Florida punter Jeremy Crawshaw in the sixth round of the 2025 NFL Draft. They took him with the No. 216 overall pick.

Crawshaw was a team captain for the Gators and served as the team’s primary punter for the past four years. He was wildly productive.

The Australian punter was prolific, too. He attempted 190 punts in his career, averaging 46.4 yards per boot. He had 69 punts that forced a fair catch, as well as another 76 that landed inside the 20-yard line.

Jeremy Crawshaw also had 16 touchbacks, a low figure given his heavy volume of punts. He had a career long of 69 yards.

Prior to enrolling at Florida, Crawshaw was ranked as a three-star prospect and the No. 2,534 overall recruit in the nation in 2020, according to the On3 Industry Rankings. He also checked in as the No. 4 punter in the nation, hailing from Sydney, Australia, coming out of ProKick Australia.

What NFL Draft analysts are saying about Jeremy Crawshaw

With four years of tape from Florida, Jeremy Crawshaw made it relatively easy for NFL scouts to do their homework. And they’ll undoubtedly like what they see.

Crawshaw’s biggest asset is a huge leg, but he’s got other excellent qualities as well. He managed to pin opponents deep several times with pinpoint accuracy.

NFL scouts agree: He’s worth a draft pick given his considerable skillset. The NFL Network’s Lance Zierlein wrote the following in evaluating Crawshaw as a prospect:

“A four-year punter for the Gators, Crawshaw flashes good power from a quick delivery but will need to improve his hang time to keep NFL returners from chopping at his net average. He can be highly effective when he’s protected, with touch punts placing opponents near or inside their own 10-yard line.”
