Ravens RB Derrick Henry gets pantsed on tackle vs. Bengals, moons TNF audience
On a mostly quiet night for Derrick Henry, one play put him in TNF lore. On a fourth-quarter run, he got pantsed by a Cincinnati Bengals defender – and the play quickly went viral.
Henry took a carry for eight yards when he was taken down by B.J. Hill. As Hill went to make the tackle, though, he caught the waistline of Henry’s pants and pulled them down just enough for the audience to see a full moon.
It was the latest twist in Thursday night’s game, which saw the Ravens and Bengals score touchdowns on back-to-back plays to make it a 28-28 ballgame. No matter how the game ends, though, Henry’s wardrobe malfunction is likely to live on across social media.
It marked Derrick Henry’s 16th carry of the night as he totaled 68 yards and a touchdown during that time. That marks his second-lowest yardage of the season only to the season opener when he had 46 yards against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Thursday night’s game started out slow, but quickly turned into a classic and turned into a shootout similar to the last time the two teams squared off this year. Cincinnati led 14-7 at halftime and took a 21-14 lead into the fourth quarter. But Baltimore broke out for 21 points in the final quarter and Cincinnati got the ball for one final possession.
Joe Burrow found Ja’Marr Chase in the end zone once again, continuing their monster night, to make it a 35-34 Ravens lead. However, the two-point conversion failed, and the Bengals had to try the onside kick. Baltimore recovered, sealing the victory to improve to 7-3 on the season as Cincinnati fell to 4-6.
Despite the loss, Chase stole the show. He hauled in 11 catches for 264 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Bengals offense. All told, Burrow completed 34 of 56 passes for 428 yards and four touchdowns – with the only other score going to Tanner Hudson.
