The Detroit Lions fan who went viral for grating a block of cheese from the stands at Ford Field on Thursday claims that security confiscated the item, according to TMZ Sports.

During the first quarter of the NFC North tilt between the Lions and Green Bay Packers, the fan was shown on the Amazon Prime Video broadcast mocking the opponent — a video that immediately went viral after Prime Video and the Lions posted it to their respective social media pages.

The fan wrote on X that he snuck the cheese grater into the stadium by hiding it in his jacket sleeve. But upon going viral, security came and ended his fun.

“I’m slick with it. They took my cheese and my grater. @Lions tell ’em to bring it back to me lol,” the fan wrote.

Lions down Packers after aggressive calls from Dan Campbell

Luckily, it doesn’t appear the fan got tossed as well, meaning he witnessed Detroit’s 11th consecutive victory. The Lions, courtesy of a bold decision from head coach Dan Campbell to go for it on fourth-and-1 from Green Bay’s 21-yard line with 43 seconds remaining in the game, set themselves up for game-winning field goal attempt.

Jake Bates nailed the 35-yarder as time expired, giving Detroit the win. Campbell discussed the fourth-down call after the game, in which running back David Montgomery picked up seven yards.

“I just felt like we needed to end it on offense,” Campbell said. “Did not want to give the ball back and I believed we could convert. I trust the O-line. I trust David.”
