The Green Bay Packers have ruled out defensive lineman Devonte Wyatt and offensive lineman Elgton Jenkins for the remainder of Sunday’s NFC Wild Card Round game against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Wyatt is out with a lower leg injury, while a shoulder injury is keeping Jenkins sidelined.

Both injuries occurred in the first half — a disastrous half for the Packers. Green Bay turned the ball over three times with quarterback Jordan Love throwing two interceptions. The Packers need a much stronger effort in the second half, but it will have to come without Wyatt and Jenkins — two key players on their respective sides of the ball.

Jenkins is one of the best left guards in football, named to the Pro Bowl in 2020 and ’22. His absence was immediately felt, as 2024 sixth-round pick Travis Glover struggled to handle his assignments up front in place of Jenkins. Glover committed three penalties in the first half — an ineligible downfield and two holding penalties.

Wyatt has been a steady presence along the defensive line, putting together his best campaign to date in the NFL. The former Georgia Bulldog recorded five sacks and a career-best nine tackles for loss this season.

The Eagles aren’t without injury trouble of their own, with linebacker Nakobe Dean out with a knee injury. Dean landed awkwardly and took a cart back to the locker room. It’s a major loss for Philadelphia, as Dean was second on the team with 128 total tackles.

Oren Burks has replaced Dean at linebacker beside Zack Baun. Burks made the play of the game up to this point, forcing a fumble on the opening kickoff. Philadelphia cashed in three plays later, taking an early 7-0 lead.
