Dexter Lawrence injury update: Brian Daboll reveals severity, timeline for Giants DL
New York Giants (2-10) defensive lineman Dexter Lawrence is expected to miss the remainder of the regular season after dislocating his left elbow in Thursday’s 27-20 Week 13 road defeat to the Dallas Cowboys (5-7), per Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
Head coach Brian Daboll called it a “long-term” injury on Friday, adding he’s “not very optimistic about it.”
Lawrence, who exited the game in the third quarter and did not return, had his elbow heavily wrapped and in a sling after the game, via Jordan Raanan of ESPN. He knew immediately the injury was significant, relaying his initial fears to linebacker Bobby Okereke after the play.
