Dez Bryant has never been one to shy away from his opinions. And he shares them freely on his Twitter page. On Sunday night, Bryant got into a Twitter argument with Giants defensive lineman Kayvon Thibodeaux. Kayvon Thibodeaux tweeted, “I’m shooting on any old head mentioning the Giants from here on out.” And it didn’t take long for Bryant to light into him on Sunday night.

“The only player over there who’s legit is Malik Nabers…Other than that, sorry to break it to you buddy, you guys are awful. Cut all of that political shit out! You better hope they don’t trade your a** the way you’re hyping..Pipe down buddy. I bet not see you looking for a trade or cut,” Bryant fired back.

Later on Sunday evening, Thibodeaux tweeted back. “If Joe call you for a work out I bet you show up.” The Joe that Thibodeaux was referring to is Giants General Manager Joe Schoen.

The verbal sparring continued for much of the night on Sunday. If you want to see the rest of their tweets you can easily find them on their Twitter pages.

Bryant has been out of the league since 2020. In his prime, he was one of the best players in the NFL. From 2010-2020, he hauled in 537 catches for 7,506 receiving yards and 75 touchdowns. Bryant had three different seasons of over 1,200 receiving yards from 2012-2014. The former Dallas star went to three Por Bowls (2013, 2014, and 2016).

In 12 games this season, Thibodeaux has tallied 5.5 sacks and one forced fumble. In 2023, he enjoyed a breakout season for the Giants, tallying 11.5 sacks, three forced fumbles, and one fumble recovery. As a rookie in 2022, the former Oregon star had four sacks, two forced fumbles, and two fumble recoveries. The Giants selected him with the No. 5 overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft.

Thibodeaux played his college football with the Oregon Ducks, where he tallied 19 total sacks and 126 tackles for his career.
