WATCH: DK Metcalf dominates NBA Celebrity All-Star Game, wins MVP
Seattle Seahawks wideout DK Metcalf is a certified freak of nature. He’s long been one of the best athletes on planet Earth, even before he set foot in the National Football League. On Friday night, he delivered everybody a crystal-clear reminder of just how ridiculous of an athlete he truly is in the 2023 NBA Celebrity All-Star Game. Metcalf stuffed the stat sheet with 20 points, 10 rebounds, and four blocks en route to bringing home MVP honors.
Let’s take a look at a couple of his highlights from the game. There’s this play, where he skies for the block, then takes the rock the distance for the easy jam at the other end, showing off his vertical.

Then watch him elevate for this block on Everett Osborne, where he absolutely destroys the shot, spiking it like a volleyball, sending Osborne crashing to the ground.
Maybe we shouldn’t be surprised that Metcalf won the Celebrity All-Star Game MVP. After all, everybody knew how freakish of an athlete he was after he posted historic numbers at the 2019 NFL Scouting Combine.

Metcalf ran a 4.33-40-yard dash, the fastest time for any player that has weighed more than 225 pounds, since official combine data started being tracked in 2003, per NFL Research. Not only that, he posted a 40.5-inch vertical leap. He also displayed his superhuman strength, bench pressing 225 pounds, 27 times.
The man simply isn’t human. Metcalf also had one of the greatest chase down tackles in football history, when he turned on the burners to catch Budda Baker down the left sideline.
No matter what he does the rest of his NFL career, it will be tough to top that play, undoubtedly one of the greatest hustle plays in NFL history. For now, the legendary athletic feats of DeKaylin Zecharius Metcalf, only continue to grow.
