EA Sports reveals ten highest rated quarterbacks in Madden NFL 24
EA Sports wrapped up a week of reveals this week with the highest-rated quarterbacks in Madden NFL 24. The list features the best and highest-paid players in the league.
The Madden ratings, which are determined by taking the average overall score for each player based on 43 skill categories, are updated before the new season and during the season. Pre-orders for the game are currently underway with the release scheduled for Aug. 15.
Here’s how the Madden NFL 24 quarterback ratings shook out with just one quarterback receiving a perfect 99.
Madden NFL 24 Top-10 Quarterback Rankings
- Patrick Mahomes, 99 – Kansas City Chiefs
- Joe Burrow, 95 – Cincinnati Bengals
- Josh Allen, 94 – Buffalo Bills
- Lamar Jackson, 91 – Baltimore Ravens
- Jalen Hurts, 88 – Philadelphia Eagles
- Justin Herbert, 87 – Los Angeles Chargers
- Dak Prescott, 87 – Dallas Cowboys
- Aaron Rodgers, 86 – New York Jets
- Kirk Cousins, 84 – Minnesota Vikings

The quarterbacks ranked from 11-20 are Trevor Lawrence, Geno Smith, Jared Goff, Kyler Murray, Derek Carr, Deshaun Watson, Jimmy Garopollo, Russell Wilson, Ryan Tannehill and Justin Fields.
Almost every quarterback with a top-10 rating in this year’s Madden game led their teams to the playoffs last season, with the exception of Aaron Rodgers. The four-time NFL MVP is now trying to take the Jets to their first playoff run since 2010.
Analyzing the ratings by tier, it appears the Madden decision-makers view Mahomes, Burrow, Allen and Jackson as the most elite. Hurts, Herbert, Prescott and Rodgers trail slightly in the second tier.
Other notable ratings include Kenny Pickett at 73 and Jordan Love at 70. Rookies C.J. Stroud and Bryce Young were given a 73 and 74, respectively.
Patrick Mahomes receives third perfect rating
Chiefs quarterback and two-time Super Bowl winner Patrick Mahomes earned his third perfect rating on Madden this week.
