Eli Manning hopes to land Taylor Swift as a ManningCast guest
The ManningCast has quickly become one of the most entertaining NFL broadcasts. A huge part of that is because of the guests who join the show and interact with Peyton and Eli Manning.
Now, Eli Manning wants to shoot for the stars on their next guest and potentially bring Taylor Swift into the mix as a guest, now that she seems to have some NFL ties.
“I think she would be a popular guest,” Manning said. “Now that she’s a football fan and going to Chiefs games and connecting with Travis Kelce, our next Chiefs game—that’s an easy ask. We’ll have to see if she wants to come on the show.”
Bringing Swift on for a Chiefs game, of course, makes the most sense. Despite it widely being reported that Swift, a Pennsylvania native, is an Eagles fan, there are persistent rumors that she’s dating star tight end Travis Kelce. Swift was even seen at Arrowhead alongside Kelce’s mother, celebrating, and later leaving the stadium with him.
The Manningcast typically has guests on with a connection to one of the teams playing in the game. Now, with rumors that Swift and Kelce are together, she’d be a great guest. Like Eli Manning explained, it would undoubtedly be a popular move and help get more people watching the broadcast.
On top of that, the Manningcast will have the perfect opportunity for Taylor Swift to join. As of now, the broadcast is set to cover the Eagles’ trip to Kansas City to take on the Chiefs in November. With the remote nature of the broadcast, she could do it from wherever she needs to be.
Travis Kelce reacted to Taylor Swift appearing at a Chiefs game
On Sunday, Taylor Swift made an appearance at the Chiefs game to support Travis Kelce. Now, he’s shared his thoughts on her making it to the game.
“I just thought it was awesome how everybody in the suite had nothing but great things to say about her, you know, the friends and family,” Travis Kelce said.
“She looked amazing. Everybody was talking about her in a great light. And on top of that, the day went perfect for Chiefs fans. Of course, we script it all ladies and gentlemen. But to see the slow motion chest bumps, to see the high fives with mom, to see how, you know, Chiefs Kingdom was all excited that she was there. That s**t was absolutely hysterical. It was definitely a game I’ll remember, that’s for damn sure.”
