ESPN mock draft expert Jonathan Givony released his latest 2022 NBA mock draft after Tuesday’s lottery results became public. With the Orlando Magic moving into the No. 1 spot and the Sacramento Kings shooting up the board into the top four, the order of the first 14 selections is now set in stone.

After the NBA lottery was announced, the No. 1 pick went to the Orlando Magic, followed by the Oklahoma City Thunder at No. 2 and Houston Rockets at No. 3. The Sacramento Kings moved up to No. 4 overall while the Detroit Pistons fell out of the top four as the No. 5 pick.

With only one team moving up from their position, the rest of the teams were sorted by their regular season record from worst to best among non-playoff teams.

There is no consensus No. 1 overall pick this year, with a large group of top-level prospects whose order could be determined by the team needs more so than any perceived gap in talent. Duke’s Paolo Banchero and Gonzaga’s Chet Holmgren have received the most hype entering the draft process alongside Auburn’s Jabari Smith. However, Purdue’s Jaden Ivey has drawn big-time comparisons which have caused his stock to rise while Kentucky’s Shaedon Sharpe remains an outsider with little film.

Here is a look at how ESPN draft expert Jonathan Givony sees the 2022 NBA Draft playing out right now.
