ESPN NFL analyst predicts Myles Garrett gets traded to the Philadelphia Eagles

‘Get Up’ had the best getting better with a predicted trade partner that could make a deal for Myles Garrett.
On Thursday, Bill Barnwell made a prediction for the Philadelphia Eagles to trade for Garrett from Cleveland. That made sense to him considering how their front office has worked in the past and especially with what they know they could be losing on the defensive line.
“Extra bold – Myles Garrett gets traded to the Philadelphia Eagles,” said Barnwell. “The rich get richer.”
“They’re missing some players in free agency – Josh Sweat is a free agent, Brandon Graham is retiring,” Barnwell noted. “Howie Roseman has taken swings in the past when rare talents have come available – he traded a first-round pick for A.J. Brown, signed Saquon Barkley in free agency.”
Dominique Foxworth and Dan Graziano agreed with it as something they thought management would do in Philly. The NFL would hope they wouldn’t, though, considering how much better Garrett could make the defending champions.

“Yeah, I mean, that’s terrifying, honestly,” Foxworth said. “I’m sure Howie Roseman, given the type of players when you look at his roster? The type of players (he) really likes is these physical outliers and productive players like this. I’m sure he’d be willing to hand over half his draft to make this happen. But I imagine the rest of the league would be diving in front of this trying to stop this from happening. This defense was possibly the best in football. You add Myles Garrett to it? It seems like they could win without throwing the ball at all next season.”
“I think this would fit really well with what the Eagles do and how Howie Roseman operates, right – paying a premium price for a premium player, right, as opposed to sort of overpaying, you know, your own free agent. Like, pay more than you think the market is worth for Josh Sweat just to keep him, right? You overpay to get a guy that can make a difference,” Graziano added. “That’s what they did with Saquon Barkley and they’ve done it with others.”
With Garrett requesting a trade earlier this month, multiple contenders have been connected to him as a possibility. That includes Philadelphia just last week on ‘Get Up’ as well as the Detroit Lions. They’d be two of just about any of the teams in the league who would like to acquire the former Defensive Player of the Year and a six-time All-Pro.
The Eagles already had one of the best defenses last season in the NFL. They would only be that much better with a player like Garrett potentially joining them this offseason.
