Ezekiel Elliott gives hilarious explanation for missing Aaron Judge's 62nd home run in Arlington
New York Yankees slugger Aaron Judge finally hit his 62nd home run on Tuesday, doing so against the Texas Rangers in Arlington. Some members of the Dallas Cowboys were on hand — but Ezekiel Elliott wasn’t one of them.
Elliott told reporters he opted not to attend the game even though Micah Parsons, Michael Gallup and Dak Prescott made the trip to Globe Life Field. They watched from Parsons’ suite as Judge hit the historic home run, which made him the American League’s single-season home run leader. Elliott, meanwhile, stayed back.
His reasoning was pretty relatable, too.

“I hate driving all the way to Arlington,” Elliott said, via the Fort Worth Star-Telegram’s Clarence Hill Jr. “No disrespect to Aaron Judge. I respect his game. We had practice today. It was Micah’s suite. He invited me. I’m just not driving to Arlington, unless I have to.”
Judge made history, but the Rangers wound up winning the game 3-2. Texas then won the final game of the season on Wednesday to end the year with a 68-94 record.
Tulane trolls ESPN, Aaron Judge cut-ins with clever uniform reveal video
Aaron Judge’s chase for 62 home runs became the talk of the sports world the last few weeks. Not only because it was an American League record, but because ESPN kept cutting in to show the New York Yankees star’s at-bats — much to the chagrin of college football fans across the country.

Tulane had some fun with those cut-ins while attempting to reveal its uniforms for this week.
The Green Wave tweeted a uniform reveal video Wednesday and proceeded to “cut in” to show Judge hitting the long-awaited 62nd home run. As a result, the program will attempt to unveil the full video on Thursday.
As shown in the video, Judge did end up hitting his 62nd home run Tuesday night to break Roger Maris’ American League record. It took him 23 at-bats between home run Nos. 61 and 62, and it led to multiple cut-ins during college football games on ESPN the last two weeks.
