Titans place Jamal Carter on Injured Reserve, sign DeMarcus Walker
The Tennessee Titans have placed safety Jamal Carter on injured reserve announced the signing of former Florida State edge rusher DeMarcus Walker Monday afternoon, Pro Football Network’s Aaron Wilson reported. The move was made together in order to maker room on the current 90-man roster this summer for Walker while Carter recovers.
Walker appeared in 13 games with the Houston Texans last season, recording 31 tackles, four tackles for loss, two sacks and seven quarterback hits. In 49 career games, Walker has totaled 82 tackles, 12.5 sacks, and two forced fumbles.
He also played in 36 games with five starts during his four seasons in Denver, and he recorded 51 tackles, 10.5 sacks, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery.
The Titans also signed undrafted free agent Kenneth George Jr. Monday afternoon as well.
Titans sign four draft picks
The Tennessee Titans have officially signed four of their nine selections from the 2022 NFL Draft, the team announced Thursday. Hassan Haskins, Kyle Philips, Theo Jackson and Chance Campbell are all set for their rookie seasons in Nashville.
Haskins, the Titans’ fourth-round selection out of Michigan, totaled 1,327 yards and 20 touchdowns to lead the Wolverines’ rushing attack, but also got it done as a pass-catcher, adding 18 catches for 131 yards to his season totals as well.

Philips, Tennessee’s fifth-rounder, caught 163 passes for 1,821 yards and 17 touchdowns during his tenure as a wide receiver with UCLA. Philips ended his career with a 29-game streak that saw him catch at least one pass in each game he appeared in.
The Titans took Jackson, a defensive back out of Nashville, with the 204th overall pick. He was a force at Tennessee over the last five years, totaling 190 career tackles, 12.0 tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks and three interceptions as a fifth-year senior for first-year coach Josh Heupel and company during the 2021 season.
Fifteen selections later, the Titans would select Campbell, a linebacker who put together a huge year for Ole Miss in 2021, finishing with 109 total tackles, including 12.5 tackles for loss, to go with six sacks and three fumble recoveries for the Rebels.
