Florida vs. Georgia odds: Early point spread released, How to Watch

Florida and Georgia are set to meet in a matchup that could prove pivotal for both teams going forward, albeit for different reasons.
While Georgia is seeking a College Football Playoff berth and must step carefully to avoid a second loss this season, Florida is trying to prove it’s still under the right leadership with coach Billy Napier in charge. He’s firmly on the hot seat.
According to lines listed by FanDuel, Georgia will enter the game as a 18.5-point favorite over Florida. The over/under point total for the contest has been set at 53.5 points.
That sets the expectation going into the game: The Bulldogs are a huge favorite over the Gators and are expected to win without much trouble. But that’s why they play the games.

But the Gators have been able to quiet those calls a bit in recent weeks with wins over Mississippi State, UCF and Kentucky, as well as a close overtime loss to Tennessee. At 4-3 now, Florida is looking to shock the world against a brutal second half of the schedule.
That starts with Saturday’s game against Georgia.
The Bulldogs, meanwhile, have put themselves in playoff contention by getting to this point with only one loss, a competitive one on the road at Alabama.
Georgia can certainly earn its way into the playoff, but it probably needs to withstand no more than one additional loss. And when you’re favored by as much as the team is against Florida, you’re expected to get the job done?
Can Georgia take care of business or will Florida throw an interesting wrinkle into the playoff race, while also providing a lifeline for Napier? Tune in Saturday at 3:30 p.m. ET to find out.
