Former NFL offensive lineman DJ Fluker is working out Wednesday with the Philadelphia Eagles, according to reports from NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport and The Score’s Jordan Schultz. Fluker has not played in the NFL since 2020.

Fluker, 32, was drafted with the No. 11 overall pick in the 2013 NFL Draft by the San Diego Chargers out of Alabama. He started out as the starting right tackle before moving to right guard in 2015.

He played with the Chargers for four seasons before hopping all around the league, playing with the New York Giants, Seattle Seahawks and Baltimore Ravens. He was on three different rosters during the 2021 calendar year but never appeared in any games.

He was a three-time BCS national champion with the Crimson Tide, starting two of those championship seasons at right tackle.

Eagles offensive line coach Jeff Stoutland was the offensive line coach at Alabama for Fluker’s final two seasons on campus.

DJ Fluker was drafted during a lineman-heavy 2013 NFL Draft

DJ Fluker was drafted during one of the more offensive line-heavy first rounds in NFL Draft history. He was the sixth offensive lineman selected in the first 11 picks.

Central Michigan offensive tackle Eric Fisher was the first overall pick in the draft by the Kansas City Chiefs. He played eight seasons with the Chiefs, making two Pro Bowls and helping the team win Super Bowl LIV. Fisher then played one year with the Indianapolis Colts and was on the roster of the Miami Dolphins for a few weeks last year.

The Jacksonville Jaguars selected Texas A&M offensive tackle Luke Joeckel was selected with the No. 2 pick. He hasn’t played in the NFL since 2017.

The Arizona Cardinals nabbed Jonathan Cooper at No. 7. Cooper hasn’t played in the NFL since 2019.

Fluker’s Alabama teammate Chance Warmack was selected right before Fluker with the No. 10 pick by the Tennessee Titans. He won a Super Bowl with the Eagles and also hasn’t played in the league since 2020.

But the best offensive lineman of those first 11 picks could be Fluker’s new teammate if the Eagles decide to sign him in Lane Johnson. Philadelphia selected Johnson fourth overall out of Oklahoma.

He has been with the team ever since, making four Pro Bowls and two All-Pro first teams. He was named a first-team All-Pro player this past season as he helped the Eagles to an appearance in the Super Bowl.
