Former Bears OC Luke Getsy lists home for $1.7 million

Former Chicago Bears offensive coordinator Luke Getsy has listed his house in Waukegan, Ill., for about $1.7 million, according to a report from the Chicago Tribune.

Getsy will be headed to the West coast after taking a job as the Las Vegas Raiders’ offensive coordinator.

That puts a beautiful home on the market in the Chicago area. According to a Redfin listing, the home was sold for $1.57 million in April, 2022, presumably to Getsy and his family.

It is now listed for $1.675 million.

So what would that total get you at the old Getsy residence? Quite a bit, actually. The home is listed as having 5,610 square feet of space, a six-bedroom, five-bathroom unit.

It is located on a nearly two-acre lot.

The home has a three-car parking garage, four fireplaces (in the living room, master bedroom and den/library), a recreation room, a breakfast room, an office, a mud room, a storage room in the basement, a family room, an exercise room, a dining room and a living room.

Suffice it to say, whoever takes Getsy’s house off the market will have plenty of space.

Getsy was fired after Chicago’s offense performed poorly under his watch. Despite having former No. 1 overall draft pick Justin Fields, the Bears finished 19th and then 23rd in offense in the league.

Despite the fact that he was fired by Chicago, Getsy was scooped up pretty quickly by the Las Vegas Raiders as their new offensive coordinator. Las Vegas promoted Antonio Pierce to the head coaching position.
