Report: Former Cowboys WR Michael Gallup signing one-year deal with Las Vegas Raiders
The Las Vegas Raiders are signing former Dallas Cowboys receiver Michael Gallup to a one-year deal, per Adam Schefter of ESPN.
The deal is worth up to $3 million. Gallup, 28, spent the first six seasons of his career with the Cowboys after being selected in the third round of the 2018 NFL Draft out of Colorado State. In 86 games (67 starts), he hauled in 266 receptions for 3,744 yards and 21 touchdowns.
Gallup tallied a career high 66 catches for 1,107 yards and six scores in 2019. He suffered a torn ACL during Week 17 of the 2021 season. The Cowboys signed him to a five-year, $57.5 million extension the following offseason, but he took a dip in production in 2022 and ’23. Post injury, Gallup caught 73 passes for 842 yards and six touchdowns and failed to record a 100-yard game in the regular season.
This past season, he recorded 34 receptions for a career low 418 yards and two touchdowns. He did, however, catch six passes for 103 yards in the NFC Wild Card Round loss to the Green Bay Packers.
