Stetson Bennett shows off new NFL number, uniform with Los Angeles Rams
The jersey No. 13 was good and lucky to Stetson Bennett during his collegiate career at Georgia. And as he transitions to his professional career in the NFL, he plans on keeping that lucky 13 close to him.
On Sunday the Los Angeles Rams gave fans their first look at Bennett in his new threads, posting pictures from his first photo shoot in a Rams uniform since drafting the former Bulldog quarterback.
Bennett may have traded in his red and black Georgia uniform for the classic Ram’s blue and gold, but his number 13 remains consistent from his college playing days. Get the first look at Bennett in his new gameday attire below.
The Rams selected Bennett with the No. 128 overall pick in the fourth round of the 2023 NFL Draft, as the former walk-on with humble beginnings will now be thrust into the bright lights of Los Angeles.
In his last two seasons with Georgia, Bennett led the Bulldogs to back-to-back national championship wins and a 29-1 record. In that time span, he threw for 6,990 yards and 56 touchdown passes along with 464 rushing yards and 11 touchdowns on the ground.

Along with two national championship rings, Bennett brings a fair share of hardware with him to Los Angeles. Bennett was one of four finalists for the Heisman Trophy this year, was a finalist for the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award, and a semifinalist for the Davey O’Brien Award. He also took home the 2022 Burlsworth Trophy, awarded annually to the country’s outstanding player who began his career as a walk-on.
In back-to-back seasons Bennett took home the Offensive MVP award of the College Football Playoff semifinal and national championship games, but can he bring similar success to the Los Angeles Rams?
The Rams were Super Bowl champions just two seasons ago but took a major back last season. Their 12 losses were the most of any defending Super Bowl champion, as their offense was depleted after losing quarterback Matthew Stafford and top wideout Cooper Kupp to injuries last season, as the duo only played in nine games apiece.
Stafford underwent an elbow procedure last offseason, suffered a concussion in week 9 of last season, then a spinal cord contusion that would end his 2022 season. He now enters his 15th season in the NFL, and could potentially take Bennett under his wing as his predecessor as he likely nears some of the final seasons of his career.
