Former NFL running back Zac Stacy sentenced to six months in jail for domestic violence
Former NFL running back Zac Stacy has been sentenced to six months in jail for domestic violence, according to TMZ. An judge in Orange County, Florida made the ruling, which also includes one year of probation, on Monday evening.
Stacy was accused of violently attacking his ex-girlfriend Kristin Evans on two separate occasions. The first occurred in August of 2021 when Stacy physically assaulted her during an argument about rent money.
“He punched my legs, slapped me, picked me up by my arms, and threw me into my window, which broke,” Evans said in court documents. “I had glass in my feet that I removed myself.”
The second incident occurred three months later in November of 2021. This time cameras captured the violence, showing the couple having a conversation before Stacy swings on the woman with his right arm and hits her in the face.
After hitting her repeatedly, he then throws her into the TV, which nearly falls on top of her. Stacy continued to strike the woman and tossed her once more before leaving the house and slamming the door. All this occurred with their five-month old son sitting feet away.

Evans later filed a restraining order against Stacy. She was hospitalized after the attack with bumps, bruises and a possible cut to the head.
“He punched me several times in the head!” she said in the restraining order application. I begged him to stop because the baby was on the couch just a few feet from where he punched me. I fear for my life and my children’s lives.”
It’s unclear when Zac Stacy, a former Vanderbilt running back who spent three seasons in the NFL, will begin his jail time. He received multiple charges, pleading guilty to one count of misdemeanor domestic violence battery and two counts of misdemeanor criminal mischief.
