Report: Former NFL WR Antonio Brown arrested for failing to pay child support
Ex-NFL wide receiver Antonio Brown has been arrested for failure to pay child support, according to a report from Local10.com. The arrest occurred in Broward County, Florida.
Per the report, Brown was booked around midnight Sunday on an out-of-county warrant. He allegedly failed to pay child support to the mother of one of his children. He was released on $15,000 bond.
Wiltrice Jackson, the mother of Brown’s daughter, told TMZ Sports she wanted the former NFL receiver arrested.
“I do want him arrested,” Jackson said. “Because, right now, he’s making a mockery out of the judge, out of everything, because he feels like he’s untouchable.”
Jackson alleges that Brown owes her $31,000 in child support.
Brown played in the NFL for 12 seasons, mostly with the Pittsburgh Steelers (2010-18). He also had a brief stop with the Oakland Raiders (2019), New England Patriots (2019) and Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2020-21).
Antonio Brown makes unusual pitch to return to Steelers
Brown hasn’t played a game in the NFL since his bizarre exit from the Buccaneers-Jets game in January 2022. But, apparently, he has not given up on a return to the league.

After Week 1, the former Pro Bowl receiver made an interesting pitch to the Steelers to come back. He did not actually reach out (that we’re aware of), but he did post to social media after Pittsburgh’s Week 1 loss to the 49ers.
Brown shared an old photo from his playing days after the first loss of the season, captioned: “Here [sic] me out.” He also fired off another message saying, “Heard the Steelers need a WR.”
During his time in Pittsburgh, Brown accumulated 837 receptions, 11,207 receiving yards and 74 touchdowns. He was a seven-time Pro Bowl selection, all coming during his time with the Steelers.
Brown was also a member of the Buccaneers team that won Super Bowl LV.
Considering his constant negative attention and off-the-field issues, it’s pretty unlikely any NFL team would take any chance on the former receiver. But, apparently, he’s not done trying just yet.
