The Indianapolis Colts have made several big moves to bolster their defense for the 2022 season but no move was bigger than their addition of Atlanta quarterback Matt Ryan.

Colts acquire Matt Ryan

Matt Ryan left the Atlanta Falcons for the Indianapolis Colts two weeks ago, ending his time with the one franchise he’s known since coming into the NFL out of Boston College in the 2008 NFL Draft.

Ryan threw for 59,735 yards, 367 touchdowns and 170 interceptions over the course of his career in Atlanta. He earned the NFL’s Most Valuable Player and Offensive Player of the Year in 2016 but fell short of winning the Lombardi Trophy.
