NASCAR adds Darlington Raceway to Fortnite Rocket Racing

Fortnite has become an all-encompassing game, with everything from the standard battle royale mode to Rocket Racing. And now, NASCAR has been looped into the mix via a new playable game mode.
On Thursday, just ahead of the weekend’s events at Darlington, Fortnite unveiled a new racing track that is supposed to mimic the ‘Lady in Black.’ That, of course, is the nickname for Darlington Raceway and its egg-shaped oval, which has a reputation for being ‘too tough to tame.’
The map’s description notes that you can “Reach hyperspeed in Rocket Racing’s first black-and-white map as you spiral into the depths of NASCAR’s Darlington track, the elusive Lady in Black.” It is hailed as an official NASCAR map.
The map is in black and white and includes lasers and obstacles, as well as optical illusions. Quite the set of features for intrepid racers to overcome.
The map is tagged under Rocket Racing, Competitive Race, race, just for fun, atmospheric and casual. The map code is: 7677-1709-7926.

Odds for NASCAR Cup Series at Darlington
After an exciting weekend at Martinsville Speedway, the NASCAR Cup Series will head to The Lady in Black. Darlington Raceway will be the cathedral, with the Goodyear 400 taking center stage.
The last time the Cup Series took its show to the South Carolina-based track saw Chase Briscoe take the checkered flag, locking himself into the playoffs for the final win in Stewart-Haas Racing’s time in the sport. Now that he’s with Joe Gibbs Racing, can Briscoe get the job done again, or will someone else get to Victory Lane? There will certainly be a ton of competition when the green flag drops.
With that in mind, FanDuel Sportsbook has released their betting lines for the entire field for this coming weekend’s race. Check out the full odds below, and see if your favorite driver has a shot at the dub.
