Frankie Muniz explains how his full-time NASCAR career will affect his acting career
Teaming up with Reaume Brothers Racing, Frankie Muniz will be a full-time NASCAR driver in the Craftsman Truck Series in 2025. So, what’s going to happen with his acting career?
This weekend, Frankie Muniz is running another Truck Series race with RBR at Homestead-Miami. Muniz has a ton of support from Ford Performance and he has already done a lot of marketing with the company.
When asked by reporters at Homestead, Muniz talked about his acting career and how it relates to his racing schedule for next year.
“No like my focus is 100% being a race car driver. There are gaps, there are things, but I’m not trying to fill them with other things,” Muniz said, via Dustin Long of NBC Sports. “You know, obviously you don’t know what’s going to happen.
“As an actor you have no idea what opportunity may come up where you go, ‘Hey it’s a week, we have three weeks off, yeah let me do it.’ So, I’m not closing the door 100% to it but I don’t want people to think, oh I’m just doing this part-time, I’m just doing it as a hobby, I’m kinda doing it on the side. No, those three weeks are going to be used to prep for the next six races that are in a row or whatever it may be. So, that’s the focus.”
Frankie Muniz has been learning. His performances in the RBR trucks has not been all that impressive. He has also had issues with qualifying.

Frankie Muniz and his potential 2025 teammate
Right now, Lawless Alan is running full-time at Reaume Brothers. He finished with a career-best P5 finish at Talladega earlier in the playoffs. Alan’s development with the team has been beneficial for both sides, perhaps Muniz and Ford Performance can help them go to another level in 2025.
Now, Alan does not have 2025 plans announced yet. At 24, he is relatively young, but he has shown flashes lately. He drove the AM Racing Xfinity Series car to a P13 finish at Atlanta, one of the best finishes for the No. 15 this season.
Alan underperformed in Niece Motorsports equipment, to be honest. However, there is interest from Reaume Brothers to develop him. They even fielded an ARCA car for him this season to get additional lap time.
Perhaps Lawless Alan and Frankie Muniz will be teammates next season? There has been good, positive momentum at RBR. Is this the duo that can help elevate them to the next level?
