The NASCAR Cup Series Straight Talk Wireless 400 took place at Homestead-Miami Speedway on Sunday, and Kyle Larson won the race. This was the sixth Cup Series race of the regular season and the only race in Homestead this season.

Stage 1 Summary
Ryan Blaney took the Stage 1 win after a relatively smooth run in the opening stage. He didn’t have a ton of competition, though Alex Bowman gave it a push after starting on the pole.
In the end, Bowman just couldn’t quite make up enough ground to take the stage win. The rest of the finish in the first stage, earning stage points, looked like this:

Stage 2 Summary
Ryan Blaney looked set to cruise to a second stage win in Stage 2. That is, before William Byron started to pull him in beginning in the final 15 laps of the stage.
But neither driver would be able to sustain, as drivers on fresher tires began to catch them. Ultimately, Denny Hamlin and Kyle Larson would battle it out for the lead, with Hamlin taking the stage win.

What’s next for NASCAR after the Cup Series race at Homestead
The NASCAR drivers will be in Martinsville, Virginia, next Sunday, March 30, for the Cook Out 400 at Martinsville Speedway. The race will start at 3 p.m. ET and air on FS1. After that, the drivers will have two more weeks on the track before getting a one-week break for Easter.
