Garth Brooks, The BIG 615 partner with 23XI Racing as a sponsor in Nashville

Country music superstar Garth Brooks is dipping a toe into NASCAR, with his BIG 615 radio station serving as a co-sponsor with 23XI Racing.

The branding will go on Tyler Reddick’s Toyota Camry for the NASCAR Ally 400 at Nashville Superspeedway. The main race is Sunday in primetime. Chase Elliott is the defending champion.

“What a cool opportunity and great place for the 23XI team to partner with Garth Brooks, TuneIn, and MoneyLion,” Reddick said in a statement to the media. “Racing back in Nashville has been great for our sport and fans. And I can’t think of a more iconic artist to feature on the No. 45 car. It’s a real honor for me and I hope we can put on a good show for Garth and all the fans.”

BIG 615 is Garth Brooks’ new streaming radio station

Garth Brooks’ Big 615 is his most recent project. The station is the first from SEVENS Radio Network, which is exclusively found on TuneIn, to launch. Brooks is creating and directing the streaming stations. So it’s very appropriate that the logo of this new country music station be part of NASCAR when it visits Nashville, the center of country music. After all, 615 is the area code for Nashville. It fits.

“It’s easy to see why NASCAR is such a fan-driven sport,” Garth Brooks said. “Hell, we just have our logo on the car and I feel like I’m driving the car myself! This is exciting!”

This is the third year for NASCAR to hit Nashville.

Brooks recently described his goals for a perfect country station.

“I believe that country music listeners want to hear the latest from George Strait followed by the latest from Luke Combs,” he said. “The latest from Ashley McBryde followed by the latest from The Chicks.”

The MoneyLion logo also will appear on Reddick’s car for the Nashville race.

Brooks sang beautiful tribute to Dale Earnhardt after his death

NBA icon Michael Jordan and Denny Hamlin, a three-time Daytona 500 winner, created 23XI Racing in 2020. The team launched in time for the 2021 racing season with Bubba Wallace driving the 23 car. Wallace secured the team’s first victory in October 2021. The team added Kurt Busch for 2022. Now in 2023, the team drivers are Reddick and Wallace.

This isn’t the first time Garth Brooks and NASCAR have formed a partnership. He helped celebrate the 50th running of the Daytona 500 back in 2008.

And in December 2001, Brooks also paid special tribute to Dale Earnhardt, the NASCAR icon who died earlier that year. Brooks sang “The Dance” which served as a soundtrack for clips of Earnhardt’s life.
