NFL considering fining 49ers TE George Kittle for wearing 'F*** Dallas' shirt
San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle could receive a fine for his shirt mocking the Dallas Cowboys during Sunday Night Football, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
After the 42-10 win over the Cowboys, Kittle was seen lifting up his jersey and revealing a tee shirt underneath his shoulder pads. It simply said “F – Dallas,” but of course, the full written profanity.
According to Schefter, the fine isn’t inevitable, but it seems to be a distinct possibility.
“NFL is considering fining 49ers’ TE George Kittle for the T-shirt he wore Sunday night vs. the Cowboys that contained a profane message about the Cowboys,” Schefter wrote on Twitter. “Under the terms of the NFL’s fine schedule, personal messages carry a fine of $10,927.”
On Monday, Kittle joined the Pat McAfee Show to talk about the shirt and how he made the decision to wear it.
“That (shirt) was just on my loop, man. I put it on, was just wearing a T-shirt at the game, I don’t know how (f–k Dallas) got on there,” Kittle said jokingly. “I might’ve been mildly inspired by our guy [former linebacker] Gary Plummer, who wore that in the ’94 NFC Championship Game versus Dallas.
“There’s some things that need to be worn for the franchise and I think it’s just coincidence it just happened to appear on my chest on ‘Sunday Night Football.’”

Early line for The Game revealed
Kittle only had three receptions in the game but all three were touchdown catches, not a bad night for the tight end. He ended the night with 67 yards, as well.
San Francisco improved to 5-0 with the win while Dallas dropped to 3-2. Next week, the 49ers travel to Cleveland to play the Browns. We can’t wait to see if Kittle has a special shirt in store for that one, too.
Cowboys star Micah Parsons fired back at Kittle for the shirt, saying to laugh it up now.
“George Kittle had three touchdowns on us and he posted this thing to IG,” the linebacker said. “He said, ‘F*** Dallas.’ I just feel like he’s making it way more personal than it had to be. Kittle’s my guy, but I’m gonna say this: Laugh now, cry later.
“We got something for that. Just trust. If we see them again, just trust. We gonna put it just like that. I ain’t gonna put too much on it. If you’re gonna make it personal, we can make it personal. That’s cool.”
