Georgia Amoore unveils Russell Westbrook-designed bespoke Honor The Gift outfit for WNBA Draft

Georgia Amoore revealed that Russell Westbrook created her look for the WNBA Draft Orange Carpet. The Kentucky Wildcats basketball star was seen wearing a skirt and blazer that had “Honor Tailoring Custom Alterations” on the back.
“Russell Westbrook actually it,” Amoore said. “I told him what I wanted, and he ran with the fabric. That’s the inspiration.” Westbrook is the first NBA player to style an WNBA Draft prospect, outfitting Amoore in a Honor The Gift outfit. The NBA star launched Honor the Gift in 2017.
“This has never happened before—no athlete has ever dressed another athlete for a draft, let alone an NBA player designing for a WNBA Draft,” Westbrook said in an interview with Vogue. “We’re making history right here, breaking down those barriers between men’s and women’s sports.”
Amoore told Vogue she first connected with Honor the Gift late last year and the idea of the custom draft outfit began with a Zoom call. “I was freaking out before the Zoom even happened,” she said. “I’m not really one to get shy, but I did. Sitting there and having him in front of me, I was like, this is actually unreal right now.”

Georgia Amoore says working with Russell Westbrook was ‘unbelievable’
Georgia Amoore also talked about how much she admired Russell Westbrook. “In Australia I didn’t really have too many ESPNs, so whenever [Thunder] games were on, they were the marquee games and he was the marquee player,” she said. “Feeling so far away and now having the chance to work with him is unbelievable.”
Amoore joined Kentucky last year after spending her first four seasons at Virginia Tech. She was named to the All-SEC team this year after averaging 19.6 points and 6.9 assists while playing a SEC-high 36.7 minutes per game.
“It was a great opportunity, and I knew I had one more year of eligibility,” Amoore told KSR in January. “I had draft aspirations last year, and then I was like, I can develop so much more under him in a new place in a new conference and show that we can get a team together and be successful. He’s put so much effort and dedication into me that it’s kind of fitting that, for my last year, I go with him and we try to turn this program around, and we have so far.”
