With the NFL Combine and pro days coming to an end and the NFL Draft right around the corner, NFL franchises are now focused on visits and workouts ahead of the draft. And NFL insider Aaron Wilson reported Wednesday that former Georgia offensive lineman Broderick Jones has various visits with teams this week ahead of the 2023 NFL Draft.

According to Wilson, Jones is scheduled to visit with the Tennessee Titans on Tuesday and the New York Jets on Wednesday.

Jones is regarded as one of the most talented and physically gifted offensive linemen in this year’s draft class, projected to be drafted in the first round. The 6-foot-5, 311-pound left tackle impressed at the NFL Combine, running a 4.97-second 40-yard dash and a 30-inch vertical jump. He was a five-star prospect out of high school ranked the No. 1 offensive tackle in the nation in 2020 according to On3’s Industry Rankings, and helped lead Georgia to back to back national championships the past two seasons.

The Tennessee Titans have the No. 11 overall pick in the NFL Draft this year, and could go in multiple directions with that pick. They have various areas of need, but did release veteran offensive tackle Taylor Lewan this offseason, a position where Jones could immediately be plugged in and play.

The New York Jets on the other hand have the No. 13 pick in the first round. And while it has been rumored that the No. 13 pick could be a part of a potential trade for quarterback Aaron Rodgers, it’s been reported that the Green Bay Packers have backed away from the pick. The Jets are expected to eventually claim Rodgers via trade, and adding some needed extra protection for him up front with Jones would make sense.
