Giants fan banner flies over MetLife again, implores John Mara to 'fire everyone'
For the second week in a row, a plane has flown over MetLife Stadium calling for major changes across the New York Giants franchise.
One week after a plane was seen carrying a banner that read ‘Fix this dumpster fire,’ another one appeared this week with a more direct message to Giants president John Mara.
“Mr. Mara enough – We won’t stop until you fire everyone.”
The second message, the sender of which remains anonymous, comes after the Giants lost to the New Orleans Saints 14-11 at home last week. They dropped to 2-11 overall and are set to take on an even tougher opponent in the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday during Week 15.
The loss is the eighth straight for New York, losing the low-scoring matchup against the Saints in front of a sparse crowd. After the game, head coach Brian Daboll was asked a question from the media about the first plane that flew over the stadium.
“I’d say, look, we’ve won two games,” Daboll said. “I’m not happy either.”
Looking ahead, the Giants have matchups against the Atlanta Falcons and Indianapolis Colts, both of which have losing records entering Week 15, before rounding out the regular season on Jan. 5 on the road against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Malik Nabers, who has been a bright spot in the ailing Giants offense in 2024, also commented on the first plane being flown over the stadium after losing to the Saints.
“I didn’t pay for the plane,” Nabers said, via SNY Giants. “I ain’t got nothing to say.”
Since taking over as head coach, Daboll is 17-29-1 since taking over in 2022. The message to Mara on Sunday morning ahead of kickoff against the Ravens is telling of how fans feel about that record.
Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. ET and the Giants are 16.5-point underdogs heading into Sunday’s Week 15 NFL slate.
