Grant Enfinger goes back-to-back, wins Homestead-Miami Truck Series race
What a race from Grant Enfinger! This No. 9 team is hitting on all cylinders and has now won back-to-back races in the NASCAR Truck Series. Enfinger was already locked into the Championship 4, but he just stole an auto-transfer spot from Nick Sanchez.
Nick Sanchez was hoping that Grant Enfinger would run out of fuel. He wanted to see that No. 9 stop moving and race to the checkered flag and his spot in the Championship 4. It did not happen.
Is this the year that Enfinger adds a Truck Series championship to go with his ARCA title?
Who had Grant Enfinger winning on fuel-saving today? Nick Sanchez fell short of the finish line as far as fuel was concerned. That allowed Ty Majeski and Connor Mosack to move up and finish P2 and P3.
With the win, Enfinger kept another driver from locking into the Championship 4. The other three spots will come down to Martinsville next weekend.
There wasn’t a lot of movement on the cutline. The drivers who were under it before today are still under it now. Will a driver in a must-win situation get the walk-off victory that they need?

Grant Enfinger remains the competent veteran
This season, rightfully so, the talk has been about Corey Heim and Christian Eckes. They are the two best drivers in the series and have accounted for a lot of wins this season. Heim has six alone.
Despite the young drivers getting most of the shine, Grant Enfinger has remained confident. This CR7 team is peaking at the right time. Winning at Talladega and then Homestead is a big deal.
There are a lot of fun storylines in this Truck Series postseason. Really, the season should have two or three more races than it does now in a year. But things couldn’t be more intense and competitive than they are right now.
Grant Enfinger once again gets the win in the Truck Series. He might be on the run of his career and that could mess up the plans of Heim and Eckes. Do you think Enfinger has what it takes to win the championship in two weeks?
