Love tossed three interceptions and completed just 16-of-30 passes in the Packers’ loss to the Raiders. But the quarterback said he’s using that poor performance and disappointing outcome as motivation for Sunday’s game in Denver.
“It’s not a great feeling, definitely left a very sick taste in my mouth that whole week,” Love said. “But, it’s part of the game. I’ve had three-interception games before. You’ve got to find a way to bounce back. Having that sick taste in my mouth, it’s going to keep pushing me forward, keep motivating me to keep going, keep getting better.”
Through five games this year, Love has thrown for 1,083 yards with eight touchdowns and three interceptions. He’s completed just 55.6% of his passes. But having a three-pick outing is certainly a disappointment.
We’ll see if he can get the best of a struggling Broncos team and get some confidence back for the rest of the NFL season.
