The Green Bay Packers have had quite the week with injuries ahead of a Week 3 game against the Tennessee Titans.

Now, they released their inactive list ahead of Sunday’s contest. Jordan Love was the big one this week, going back and forth if he would start or not following a knee injury.

The Packers’ inactive list can be seen below, which includes Love not suiting up to play today.

Packers’ inactives:

  • 10 QB Jordan Love
  • 24 CB Carrington Valentine
  • 27 S Kitan Oladapo
  • 57 DL Brenton Cox Jr.
  • 77 G/T Jordan Morgan
  • 79 T Travis Glover
  • 96 DL Colby Wooden

Love was at Packers practice on Thursday and was taking reps while in pads. The MCL sprain was suffered during Week 1 against Philadelphia while playing in Brazil, occurring on one of the final plays of the game. In what was initially a multiple-week diagnosis, a faster timetable appears to have occurred.

“The trainers are seeing everything I’m doing and they’re not gonna put me out there unless they feel confident that I can protect myself,” Love said Wednesday, per ESPN. “But at the same time, that’s why it’s good to get some practice reps in and get that feel of what it’s like again.”

Willis was effective during the contest, throwing for 122 yards and a touchdown while completing over 80% of his throws. Not the flashiest stats but enough to get Green Bay the victory. His feet were also a factor with 41 rushing yards on six attempts.

In addition to the Willis news, the Packers elevated Sean Clifford to the active roster. Clifford played five seasons at Penn State from 2018-22. He finished his college career with 10,661 yards, 86 touchdowns, 31 interceptions and a 61.4% completion percentage.
