Green Bay Packers list inactive players against San Francisco 49ers

The Green Bay Packers named their inactive players for Sunday’s game against the San Francisco 49ers. Tight end Josiah Deguara is listed as active for the game and will be available.
Packers inactive players
The Packers are entering the game with a few starters inactive, including offensive tackle Elgton Jenkins. Jenkins is the only offensive player listed as inactive, with three players on the defensive end unavailable.
Jenkins injured his ankle in Monday night’s win against the Lions. He was able to play through the injury during the game, but it will keep him out against San Francisco. Losing Jenkins is an issue for the offensive line as he was filling in for the injured All-Pro tackle David Bakhtiari.
Cornerback Kevin King is out, as well as safety Vernon Scott and linebacker La’Darius Hamilton. King was listed as inactive due to illness and not an injury.
Through two games King has five tackles total with three solo. In his career with the Packers, King has six interceptions and two forced fumbles. With King out, Packers fans should see a lot more of 2021 first-round draft pick Eric Stokes. Stokes played 44 of the Packers’ 57 defensive snaps last week after just eight in week one, seeing an increase in his usage with the team.

The good news for Green Bay is the return of Deguara to the offense from the inactive list.
San Francisco injuries
The 49ers are working through injuries to their running back and cornerback units, with running back Elijah Mitchell leading the list. Joining Mitchell are cornerbacks Ambry Thomas and Dre Kirkpatrick, as well as guard Aaron Banks.
San Francisco will have Trey Sermon, Kerryon Johnson, Trenton Cannon and Jacques Patrick available at running back for Sunday’s game.
At cornerback they will have Emmanuel Moseley, Josh Norman, K’Waun Williams, Deommodore Lenoir and Dontae Johnson active.
