The Green Bay Packers (2-4) have listed rookie tight end Luke Musgrave as questionable for their Week 8 home tilt against the Minnesota Vikings (3-4) this Sunday.

Musgrave, who sustained an ankle injury in the 19-17 Week 7 defeat to the Denver Broncos (2-5), returned to practice Friday. Musgrave told reporters after Friday’s practice he is mentally prepared to suit up against the Vikings if he gets cleared.

“He’s super mature for a rookie and I’ll tell you what he’s one tough sucker now,” head coach Matt LaFleur said of Musgrave, via the team’s website. “I don’t think too many guys would’ve been able to come back that quickly from what happened to him. It just shows his toughness, his grit, his desire to want to be out there to help the team win.

“To have him, if he’s available on Sunday, would be a big plus for us.”

“I’m really fired up about him,” offensive coordinator Adam Stenavich said. “Every week, he’s gotten a little bit more of a load and he’s done a good job. Yeah, he’s coming along.”

Along with Musgrave, linebacker De’Vondre Campbell (ankle), cornerback Jaire Alexander (back) and center Josh Myers (ankle) are questionable for Sunday’s game. Campbell, who has missed the last three games, returned to practice this week.

“He’s fighting to play, for sure,” LaFleur said of Campbell. “He’s another one of those guys we’re going to make that determination on Sunday.”
