Green Bay Packers make final cuts, finalize 53-man roster

The Green Bay Packers finalized their initial 53-man roster Tuesday as they prepare to make a run at the NFC North title in 2024.
Green Bay went into what appeared to be rebuild mode in 2023, moving on from Aaron Rodgers and inserting 2020 first round pick Jordan Love under center. But with a good mix of veterans and youngsters on the roster, as well as quality play from Love, the Packers overachieved expectations.
Green Bay finished the season with three consecutive victories, getting into the playoffs as a Wild Card team with a 9-8 record. The Packers throttled the Dallas Cowboys in the Wild Card Round, 48-32, before falling 24-21 to the San Francisco 49ers in the Divisional Round. Now, they head into 2024 with increased expectations in a much-improved NFC.
