Green Bay Packers vs Minnesota Vikings Wednesday injury report
Ahead of their matchup with the Minnesota Vikings this week, the Green Bay Packers have made their injury report available from Wednesday’s practice. Quarterback Aaron Rodgers made his return to the playing field last Sunday after being placed on the COVID-19 list two weeks ago, but was held out of practice on Wednesday.
Packers vs Vikings injury report
Did Not Practice – Packers: T David Bakhtiari(Knee), RB Aaron Jones(Knee), QB Aaron Rodgers(Toe), WR Allen Lazard(Shoulder), WR Malik Taylor(Abdomen)
Despite returning from the COVID-19 list, Rodgers was held out this Wednesday for a toe injury. At this time, the Packers don’t expect him to miss Sunday’s game with the Vikings.
In great news for the Packers last week, Bakhtiari was activated to the roster from his ACL tear before nearly ten months ago. Although he is still being kept out from practice, his presence around the team in a helmet has been a boost for sure. Bakhtiari’s return will be a “day-to-day process” according to the team.
Getting Bakhtiari back would be huge for Green Bay’s offensive line. Last year, before his injury, he was a huge reason why the Packers allowed just 21 sacks — a mark that ranked second in the NFL. This year, Green Bay allowed 19 sacks through nine games, which speaks to the impact Bakhtiari has on protecting quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
Jones and Lazard were also kept out on Wednesday as the Packers continue to struggle with injuries to key players. Despite the issues, they enter Sunday’s game with an 8-2 record.
Limited Participation – Packers: WR Davante Adams(Shoulder), LB Rashan Gary(Elbow), DL Kingsley Keke(Concussion), CB Kevin King(Groin/Shoulder)

Although they all participated in a limited capacity during Wednesday’s practice, the Packers are monitoring injuries to several more key players. Kevin King, Rashan Gary and Kingsley Keke all are hoping to be available against the Vikings, and the Packers will be glad to see them play.
Gary recorded a sack in the shutout win over the Seahawks and King added an interception.
Davante Adams is unquestionably a big weapon for Rodgers and the Packers, and while he’s limited in practice he did have seven catches for 78 yards against Seattle.
Full Participation – Packers: TE Dominique Dafney(Hamstring), Equanimeous St. Brown(Ankle), CB Eric Stokes(Knee/Thumb)
Stokes was a full participant in practice, along with Dafney and St. Brown. Stokes and King have been huge for the Packers this season, and Stokes has played nearly every defensive snap since Week 3.
Dafney and St. Brown being available adds depth to the Packers receiving corps, especially with Adams and Lazard being injured.
