For the second straight day, Aaron Rodgers didn’t practice for the Green Bay Packers. Green Bay released its Thursday injury report ahead of Sunday’s game against the Los Angeles Rams.

It’s not all bad news, though. Running back Aaron jones and wide receiver Allen Lazard were back practicing this week in a limited capacity after missing last week with injuries. Wide receiver Davante Adams, who was limited on Wednesday, was back in full on Thursday, as well.

Here’s the Packers’ full injury report for Thanksgiving.

Packers vs. Rams injury report

Did Not Practice — T David Bakhtiari (knee), CB Kevin King (hip/knee), QB Aaron Rodgers (toe), WR Malik Taylor (abdomen), TE Marcedes Lewis (non-injury/resting veteran)

Rodgers is dealing with a broken pinky toe, he confirmed Wednesday. He had earlier joked that he wouldn’t say how the injury happened, only saying it was during quarantine after his positive COVID-19 test. The injury is likely to continue lingering into the bye week, as well.

Bakhtiari reportedly won’t practice this week as he recovers from arthroscopic surgery on his knee. He suffered a torn ACL in January and the most recent surgery cleaned some things up.

Limited Participants — LB Rashan Gary (elbow), RB Aaron Jones (knee), WR Allen Lazard (shoulder)

This is welcome news for the Packers, who were without Jones and Lazard last week against Minnesota. Jones suffered a sprained MCL against the Seattle Seahawks and didn’t practice or play last week as a result. He was back in a limited capacity on Thanksgiving, which is an encouraging sign heading into Sunday’s game.

Lazard also didn’t play last week as he deals with a shoulder injury. He’s one of Aaron Rodgers’ biggest targets this year, and even though Rodgers hasn’t practiced this week, getting Lazard active would be a big boost to the Packers’ wide receiver core.

Full Participants — WR Davante Adams (ankle), DL Tyler Lancaster (thumb)

Exhale, Packer fans. One day after being listed as limited, Adams got back to full participation in Thursday’s practice.

Rodgers’ primary target had a monster day last week against Minnesota, catching seven passes for 115 yards and two touchdowns as Green Bay fell just short of a victory. Getting him back to full participation is a more than welcome sign for the Packers.

Green Bay is getting ready for a big NFC showdown with the Rams on Sunday. Kickoff for that game is Sunday at 4:25 p.m. ET on FOX.
