The Green Bay Packers (8-8) have released their list of inactives for Sunday’s Week 18 home contest against the Chicago Bears (7-9).

In a game the Packers need to win to secure a playoff spot in the NFC, receiver Christian Watson is inactive. Watson has missed the previous four games with a hamstring injury. Fellow receivers Jayden Reed and Dontayvion Wicks, both questionable heading into the game, are active.

Cornerback Jaire Alexander draws back into the lineup after missing last week with a suspension. The Packers suspended Alexander for one game for anointing himself a team captain and nearly botching the pregame coin toss before the 33-30 Week 16 victory over the Carolina Panthers (2-15).

Alexander said he was “surprised” by the suspension but believes he and the Packers are in a better place because of it.

“Yeah, I was surprised by the suspension,” Alexander said. ”I thought maybe I’d get fined.”

Alexander added about his relationship with the Packers: “I think if anything, it improved it.”

Alexander, the NFL’s highest-paid cornerback at $21 million annually, said he learned through the suspension that communication between he and the franchise needs to improve.

“Yeah, I think it was definitely something to learn from,” Alexander said. “There’s definitely things that I could have improved upon during that week to help with communication. Moving forward, that won’t happen again.”
