Green Bay Packers vs. Chicago Bears Week 13 Thursday Injury Report
The Green Bay Packers officially released their official injury report for their Week 13 matchup against the Chicago Bears on Thursday afternoon. There weren’t very many changes at all to the injury report that the team released on Wednesday, other than a few minor upgrades. Packers’ star quarterback Aaron Rodgers got in a limited practice on Thursday, which is encouraging news. He didn’t practice at all on Wednesday, but that’s been the normal regimen for him all season long to give his thumb as much rest as humanly possible.
Rodgers has been dealing with an avulsion fracture in his right thumb since Week 5, and he’s been dealing with injured ribs. David Bakhtiari got in a limited practice on Thursday. It’s a fair question to ask just how impactful Bakhtiari can truly be? The Packers’ tackle hasn’t looked healthy all season long and it’s hard to trust any sort of positive news about him. It’s safe to say that the thoughts of retirement will likely be looming for him at the end of the season.
Packers tackle Elgton Jenkins got in a limited practice on Thursday. He’s been another player that has been banged up for most of the 2022-2023 NFL season and the franchise in general hasn’t been able to get healthy at numerous positions for much of this year.
Tight end Marcedes Lewis is a new name that popped up on the list on Thursday, but he’s certainly not been new to the Packers injury report in the past few weeks. The team has been giving him veteran’s rest the past few weeks, but he’s still been playing in games.
Two notable players that have gotten in limited practices on Wednesday and Thursday are the Packers star running backs, Aaron Jones and AJ Dillon. Jones has been dealing with a shin and glute injuries and Dillon has been dealing with a quad issue.
