Green Bay Packers vs Denver Broncos Wednesday injury report
The Green Bay Packers are hoping to come out of their bye week refreshed, with the focus on getting back to .500 with a win over the Denver Broncos in Week 7 this Sunday.
To do just that, the Packers will need a healthier squad — something they haven’t had through five games this season. Between left tackle David Bakhtiari (knee), left guard Elgton Jenkins (knee), receiver Christian Watson (hamstring) and running back Aaron Jones (hamstring), Green Bay has often been without its best players in games. The quartet have missed 12 games combined, with the two-time first-team All-Pro Bakhtiari sidelined for the remainder of the season.
Linebacker De’Vondre Campbell has also missed the last two games, and was the only player not to practice Wednesday. Campbell continues to work his way back from an ankle injury he sustained in Week 3 against the New Orleans Saints.
“There was no setback there,” head coach Matt LaFleur said after practice. “He’s just working through everything. I would say he’s probably more doubtful this week. We’ll see where he’s at but, obviously, give him up to game time to prove it.”

Injuries aside, the Packers find themselves at 2-3 and in second place in the NFC North behind the Detroit Lions. First-year starting quarterback Jordan Love has been mired in inconsistency, throwing for 1,083 yards with eight touchdowns and six interceptions on 55.6% passing.
Green Bay ranks 28th in total offense, averaging 281.6 yards per game and 14th in scoring, averaging 22.6 points per game. Slow starts have been the Packers’ kryptonite, as they’ve scored just 26 points in the first half, as opposed to 87 in the second half.
LaFleur said he spent the bye week figuring out ways to start games faster.
“We’ve got five games that we can really look back at,” LaFleur said last Tuesday, via the team’s website. “We’ve just got to take a good hard look at maybe how our opponents are seeing us and what teams are doing to us from a defensive perspective that is giving us some problems, and maybe we can get in front of some of these things so they don’t re-occur.”
