Nearly every injury the Packers are battling to start this week’s practices are on the offensive side of the ball, with stars like Aaron Rodgers and Randall Cobb held out from practice entirely. Although Rodgers was held out from practice with a thumb injury on his throwing hand, there has been no word from the Packers that they are concerned about his ability to play this week.
According to Rodgers, the injury occurred when he was hit on a deep throw during Week 5 — but he doesn’t view the injury as a concern or a hinderance to his ability to lead the offense.
Also out or limited on Wednesday were three offensive linemen for the Packers. Bakhtiari remains a fixture of the Packers injury reports, and alongside him as a limited participant was Jenkins who is battling a knee injury. Held out entirely on Wednesday was Jake Hanson, thinning out the depth across the entire Packers offensive line ahead of Washington.
