Green Bay Packers LT David Bakhtiari questionable with knee injury
Green Bay Packers offensive tackle David Bakhtiari is questionable to return to the team’s game against the Detroit Lions due to a knee injury. The injury came during the third quarter of the Packers’ game on Sunday while trailing the Detroit Lions 8-0.
Bakhtiari has been battling injury in his career as of late and it has caused him to miss multiple games. It has also resulted in Yosh Nijman getting some time at left tackle this season. Packers offensive coordinator Adam Stenavich spoke in September about the team’s plan at left tackle with Bakhtiari battling injury.
“I mean we’re going to basically go out there and find the best plan to put David out there as much as possible,” Stenavich said. “So the trainers are involved in that decision and obviously David is, so we’re just going to play it by ear and get him out there. … I thought he did a really good job. He hadn’t really been able to consistently go out there and practice and stuff, so it was great to get him out there. I thought he did a really good job just going out there and playing hard and putting good stuff on film.”

Things getting worse for the Packers
In the first year of the post-Davante Adams era for the Packers has not gone well. Green Bay opened up the season suffering a 23-7 blowout against the Minnesota Vikings. The Packers responded with three straight wins and looked to have things back on track, but times have gotten tough since then.
The Packers entered this weekend on a four-game losing streak. Green Bay held a 3-5 overall record, tied for second in the NFC North.
