One of NASCAR‘s 75 Greatest Drivers, Greg Biffle, has entered the ARCA Series West race at Tri-City Raceway. Biffle sticks to the West Coast more often than not lately. So, it makes sense he’s racing in his home state of Washington.

Tri-City Raceway is a unique and fast half-mile track. The only half-mile trioval left in the United States, it is a fun place to watch a race. Fans are going to be treated to a real show with Greg Biffle in the field.

The ARCA Menards Series West doesn’t always have huge fields. Talent isn’t always up to the same level as you see in the national or ARCA Series East. But that could change with a driver like The Biff on the entry list.

“I’m so excited to return to the famous Tri-City Raceway in the Tri-Cities, Washington area,” Biffle said, via ARCARacing.com. “I’m looking forward to returning to the track in an ARCA West car almost 30 years after I won the track championship. It’s an honor to drive for one of the teams well-known in the sport, and I’m very grateful for the opportunity to return to racing at this historic Northwest race track.”

Team owner, 57-year-old Joe Farré raced the No. 24 car for Sigma Performance Services this season. He had a hard time as a DNF at Phoenix. Adding Biffle means this team can get some information that will help them to improve.

Greg Biffle returns to ARCA Series

Back when Greg Biffle was coming up through the ranks, he raced in the regional series out west. It was the NASCAR Winter Heat Series that got him noticed in the stock car world. From there, he joined Roush Racing.

During his career, Biffle went on to win Rookie of the Year honors in both the Craftsman Truck Series and Busch Series. He also picked up a championship in each of those series before moving up to the Cup Series, all with Roush.

19 career Cup Series wins, 20 in the Xfinity/Busch Series, and another 17 in the Truck Series. There were few things that Biffle wasn’t able to accomplish.

Get ready folks, Greg Biffle is getting back in a stock car. He’s spent time in Super Trucks and other series, but Biffle is going back to his stock car roots. That ARCA West Series field better watch out, they’ve got a legend on the track with them.
