Greg Biffle given standing ovation during Roval drivers meeting

Today, Greg Biffle will serve as an honorary starter for the NASCAR Bank of America Roval 400. He is being honored for his relief efforts in the wake of Hurricane Helene. Flying his helicopter to deliver supplies to those most in need, Biffle has made headlines.

Greg Biffle sprung into action almost immediately after Helene. His videos and posts online from his efforts have inspired so many.

During the drivers meeting, prior to today’s race at the Roval, Biffle was introduced. He received a standing ovation. John Newby of FanBuzz captured a photo of the celebration.

Hurricane Helene devastated parts of North Carolina. Those relief efforts are ongoing. While the government, local agencies, and charitable organization continue their work alongside individuals like Biffle, the NASCAR world wanted to take time to thank the former driver.

North Carolina is home to NASCAR. Teams and drivers jumped into action donating money, supplies, equipment, haulers, and more to the efforts in the immediate aftermath.

There is no better place to honor Greg Biffle and those like him who have and are currently assisting with relief than at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

There have been many harrowing stories from Hurricane Helene. The determination and hard work that Greg Biffle has displayed has inspired so many.

Of course, NASCAR fans remember The Biff for his work on the track. Busch Series champion, Truck Series champion – one of NASCAR’s 75 Greatest Drivers. He is also a hero off the track.

For his relief efforts, Charlotte Motor Speedway is having Biffle as an honored guest at the Bank of America Roval 400. The Biff will be the honorary starter. He has already received such a warm welcome at the track, it should be a great prerace atmosphere.

For fans of the old-school, this Roval race is going to be awesome for you. Ricky Rudd and Carl Edwards will be the Grand Marshals for the race. The two drivers are set to be inducted into the NASCAR Hall of Fame in 2025.
