The Biff is back! Greg Biffle is set to serve as the Honorary Pace Car driver for the Goodyear 400 at Darlington during NASCAR Throwback Weekend. Will anyone have a Biffle throwback on track next week?

Who better to serve as Honorary Pace Car driver than Greg Biffle? One of NASCAR’s 75 Greatest Drivers and an iconic personality. Not to mention, Biff has two Southern 500 wins at The Track Too Tough to Tame.

Biffle is going to be one of many former drivers likely at the track for Throwback Weekend. NASCAR has done a great job of encouraging former drivers and other members of the sport back to bask in the glory of it all.

The Biff gonna put a Darlington stripe on that pace car, for old times’ sake? Probably not, but I bet he could if he wanted to.

Greg Biffle made headlines last year after the floods in North Carolina. He flew his helicopter to assist in rescue and relief efforts. NASCAR named him as the Honorary Starter for last year’s Roval playoff race.

“I’m thrilled to be the Honorary Pace Car driver for such a celebrated day in our sport, while being in the company of current and former competitors alike,” said Biffle. “To have a distinguished role in Sunday’s race and be part of Darlington’s 75th Anniversary celebration this year is a true honor.”

The former Roush racer will be remembered as the tough competitor that he was on the track. In his post-race career, he is creating another legacy for himself as someone who gives his time to help those who need it. Not a bad retirement so far for The Biff.

Greg Biffle was helping battle South Carolina wildfires

If you thought that Greg Biffle was done with his helicopter heroics, you are wrong. On his Twitter/X page earlier this month, Biffle was asking people to reach out to his BIFF Org. They were helping provide beds, bedding, supplies, and household goods to those affected by the South Carolina wildfires.

The work truly never stops. Last year, when North Carolina needed it most, Biffle answered. The NASCAR community answered in a big way. There are still people who are in a tough way due to these storms and floods and fires. It will take more effort in the future to help these communities heal.

Darlington Raceway is going to be great for Throwback Weekend. Teams are releasing more and more paint schemes, and many of them are really solid remakes. Who will add a Darlington win to their resume with Greg Biffle in attendance?
