This season, Sam Mayer takes on the NASCAR Xfinity Series with a brand new team and he has a brand new sponsor to go with it. Mayer and Haas Factory Team are hoping to continue the success that the Stewart-Haas team had in the Xfinity Series.

Landing new sponsors for Haas Factory Team isn’t a matter of reaching out and companies lining up to give them money. Sam Mayer, even with all of his talent and wins on the track, does not have a ton of natural funding.

When Mayer was at JR Motorsports, his sponsors were mainly sponsors that JRM had gotten. He doesn’t appear to be carrying those partners to HFT.

However, Audibel is joining up with Haas and Mayer. This gives Mayer a solid foundation to build off. If he has the same success he had at JRM, sponsors will come knocking. This is a nice white and green paint scheme, too.

We saw this sponsor on Sam Mayer’s firesuit in the hype video that Haas put out last week. Now it is confirmed. There has not been any sign that there will be other partners for the No. 41 car.

Mayer won seven races at JR Motorsports. He was a Championship 4 driver in 2023. When it comes to the postseason he has proven himself to be clutch. Also, he might be one of the most underrated road course racers in NASCAR even with four road course wins.

I think Audibel will be more than happy with this partnership. Mayer is a tough racer and has proven that he belongs in a championship-caliber car.

Sam Mayer should pace Haas Factory Team in 2025

No offense to Sheldon Creed, but Sam Mayer is going to be the leader of this Haas Factory Team. Mayer has shown that he has the closing gene. He can get the job done late and win races.

For Creed, that has yet to be proven. He has more runner-up finishes without a win than any other driver ever in NASCAR. Time and time again he finds ways to avoid taking the checkered flag. Perhaps HFT is exactly what he needs to get that first win, but I’m not so sure.

Mayer should take this as an opportunity to be a leader. He also has to cut down on his DNFs. They are hurting him not just on the track but in his development as well. Those DNFs tell team owners that you cost a lot of money.

This season is a big one for Sam Mayer and Haas Factory Team. Will they continue to be a championship-contending organization under the HFT banner or will it be a step back for this group?
